After uninstall of Chromium and Chrome, both are still in whisker menu.
How to fix?

Re: Uninstalled Items Stuck In Whisker Menu
A reboot or log out/in might fix that.

Re: Uninstalled Items Stuck In Whisker Menu
Have you tried right-clicking on them to see if there are any options to remove, delete, or uninstall each one?
Re: Uninstalled Items Stuck In Whisker Menu
tried that, there isn't .
I guess i can just delete the chrome/chromium items from the files mentioned by Libre editor, correct?
I'm concerned that won't be enough-- chrome/chromium may have left other gunk in my OS. Is there any other manual or auto cleanup i can do?
THX

Re: Uninstalled Items Stuck In Whisker Menu
Right-click on the menu icon itself and choose " Edit applications" (or some such option). Click your way to the applications in question in the left pane. Delete them by clicking "Delete" on the toolbar. Or hide the ones you want by clicking "Hide" in the right pane.
Re: Uninstalled Items Stuck In Whisker Menu

Re: Uninstalled Items Stuck In Whisker Menu
Open Thunar, navigate to
As I don't know what those other chromium entries are, I won't suggest deleting those at this time.
I believe the menu will update immediately. Can't remember.
/home/johny/.local/share/applications/
right click on chromium-browser.desktop and choose Delete. Do the same for google-chrome.desktop. As I don't know what those other chromium entries are, I won't suggest deleting those at this time.

these terminal commands may be helpful in removing residual crap...dont for get to reboot thereafter...DAMIEN
do these one at a time, dont worry if the first dpkg -l says error etc...just means nothing is there is all...
sudo apt autoremove
dpkg -l | grep '^rc' | awk '{print $2}' | sudo xargs dpkg --purge
dpkg -l | grep '^rc' | awk '{print $2}' | xargs sudo apt-get purge
