XFCE High CPU usage
System Monitor shows very high cpu usage even when im doing nothing in latest mint xfce desktop.Pls bear with me as im a newb to linux.

There's no useful system info there at all, copy/paste this to the terminal and copy/paste the text output here (no screenshots please):
If you want to see what's actually using all that CPU run SYstem Monitor and sort by CPU usage.
You may want to turn off desktop compositing / eye candy too ... this sort of thing is often caused by graphics support. The easiest way to do that is to go to settings > desktop settings > windows. There's a pop up menu for WM settings, Change it to 'Xfwm4'.
