Update Manager Icon ... LM 19 Xfce
I upgraded from Linux Mint 18.3 Xfce edition to 19.0 according to Clem's tutorial. I get a new Notification (bell) item on the panel next to the clock but the update manager icon (which used to show a tick if you were up to date) has now disappeared. How do I get this icon back?

Right click an empty spot in that area, click 'Add to Panel', see if it's there. If so, add it.

Or perhaps:
Update Manager: Edit: Preferences: Options and make sure that the box for "Only show a tray icon when updates are available ...." is unchecked.
