Top Panel - Move Items from Bottom Panel <SOLVED>
I am testing various Xfce distros including Mint. I prefer the panel to be on top. I have been able to move all items from bottom to top except the update manager icon. Is there any way to move this item to the top? I haven't been able to find any option to "add" it to the top panel. Thanks.

Re: Top Panel - Move Items from Bottom Panel
you went the wrong way https://askubuntu.com/questions/245919/ ... to-the-top a bit of googling is always a good idea before doing something like this
you're probably missing Notification area which you can add. right click the panel > panel preferences > items click the ADD button and search for it

Re: Top Panel - Move Items from Bottom Panel
The Notification Area icon only adds the wireless icon, not the Update Manager icon. This is so much easier to do in at least one other Xfce distro. I guess if I really want the Update Manager to be on top then I'll have to reinstall.
