Is it possible to skip specific applications when using alt-tab to switch windows?

Post by begtognen » Fri Aug 02, 2019 7:03 am

OS: Linux Mint XFCE, 19.1, 64 bit

Is it possible to skip specific applications when using alt-tab to switch windows?

I like using the sticky notes application Xpad, but when I have it open (even if the tray icon is enabled and it's in read-only mode) it appears as an option when I alt-tab to switch windows.

Is there a way to cut it out of the alt-tab process?

Thanks for any help/suggestions you might have.

You can move the app you dont want to see within alt-tab to another workspace.
The switcher will only show a workspace at a time...........

Hi SecureIT,

Thanks for your suggestion. Unfortunately Xpad is a sticky notes program, so I definitely want it on the same workspace I'm working in.
