clock orientation in panel

Post by shmu » Thu Sep 12, 2019 1:41 am

I set the panel to vertical, and the mode to "desktop"
The clock displays horizontally, which is good, but the minutes get cut off unless I make the panel super fat.
Clock format is default.
LinuxMint 19.2 (tina)
Xfce 4.12

Other than using a veyr small font the only thing I can think of is to add a horizontal auto hide panel and put the clock there, you can also use that for launchers. I do the same sort of thing (except the main panel is horizontal and the vertical one is for the launchers) and it's a very handy 'docker'.

Thanks for the horizontal docker idea. That works.
