Problems with the panel - Whisker Menu - General system issues.

Post by pcfan5 »

Hello!.
A couple of days back , while I was trying to activate the LAN net through the panel icon , as it didn't respond and I didn't want to reboot I pressed Ctrl + Alt + Backspace to reboot Xorg (I don't know for sure why but I did it) when I returned to the system all the icons from my panel were gone, also whisker menu.
I recreated them.

This happened like 15 days back.

Last night after a long day of using and also used Virtual Machine a lot, I wasn't able to shut down my system from the buttons in the menu . I tried opening a terminal to run "shutdown now" and it didn't work.
So I turned it off form the physical button.

Now I see my system isn't working properly , Whisker menu has its "mint" icon changed, and also its settings. Also Firefox gets stucked, and the Text editor isn't shown as it is supposed .

This is my system
