How to navigate Mint dialog boxes using just the keyboard?

Post by begtognen »

OS: Linux Mint 20, XFCE

I've found that using the keyboard as much as humanly possible and avoiding the mouse works best for me.

Is there a way to navigate dialog boxes like the one below using the keyboard? I do know about the Accessibility Mouse Emulation, but it's fairly clumsy. What I'm hoping for is, for example, the ability to navigate from Behaviour to Application Shortcuts to Layout without having to touch the mouse (or use mouse emulation).

Thanks so much for any help/suggestions.

Restart = On/Off button 2x arrow left select via space bar
If cursors do not work use Tab and Enter or Space to confirm
Testing with (Mint 20) and Garuda KDE Dr460nized right now: "2011: ASUS is proud to deliver the world's first ultrabook..." ASUS ZenBook UX31E (now quadruple boot Win 7, Win 10, LM 20,Garuda KDE Dr460nized )
