Self changing desktop appearance

Post by pawelnrg »

As I was informed in the notification about the need to create a new topic I do it: "Self changing desktop appearance".
I'm linking this to an earlier shutdown due to a dead battery. When turned on, my desktop looks like this:

viewtopic.php?f=57&t=329787 . I tried the solutions from this thread it did not help.

Only when I read and did this: viewtopic.php?t=297772

These exact commands......
Shut down the panel first, xfce4-panel --quit.
Kill the xfce4 configuration daemon, pkill xfconfd.
First delete settings for the panel, rm -rf ~/.config/xfce4/panel.
Clear out the settings for xfconfd , rm -rf ~/.config/xfce4/xfconf/xfce-perchannel-xml/xfce4-panel.xml.
Restart the panel, run xfce4-panel.
it had an effect.... BUT as you can see t a lot of warnings occurred is this OK?
