I noticed a few weeks ago that every so often a strange white pixel would appear in the same place every now and then. it isn't a dead pixel on my screen, demonstrated by the fact it's captured in screenshot. If I logout and back in, it goes away. if I change the desktop image without logging out it persists no matter the wallpaper.
I have no idea why it's there and it doesn't appear on any windows, just the desktop image.
