lmintnewb, I agree with you.
As I said, it"s not a big deal. I'm not having any performance issue.
But it would be nice to know why this is happening. XFCE using more ram than GNOME it's not natural.

Yeah, I'll live. But, then again, I can be a bit paranoid about my computer.

lol ... that is definitely understandable. I can be the exact same way too. Regardless, I'm sure you guys will get things sorted. Until the OS you're using fits your tastes.
