Emerald & Firefox 4 on XFCE Debian

Hi Folks, this might not be the right forum in which to post these questions. Move it if it's not.

I've installed XFCE Debian and I'd like to transition to this as my main Distro. I've been using Ubuntu for a couple of years and I'm not liking Gnome 3, Unity (ask if you want) or the release schedules. I'm *so* looking forward to a rolling release.

So far, so good. I've got Compiz Fusion & Config installed and running. Docky is installed.

?: Is it possible to install Emerald? I notice that Emerald is not in the Debian repositories?

& ?: Will Firefox 4 be available through the repositories or do I need to install FF4 separately (into my home folder for example)?

It will probably take somee time before we see Firefox 4 in Debian testing. Meanwhile, you can install it this way:

and to have better rendering of fonts in Firefox, I recommend this:

Thanks. I've got FF4 installed alongside FF3.6 - using profiles with both. (Having two versions is useful to me.) Oddly (and unlike Ubuntu) the profile which is *not* the default asks me to confirm which profile I want to use even though I've check the "Don't ask at Startup" checkbox. I'm wondering if this is a Mozilla problem or something to do with Xfce?

There's probably no one else with the same setup, but I'll hold my breath just a little.
