[SOLVED] Add Grey Border around desktop icons text?

Post by Chris M »

Prior to the latest XFCE release, merlwiz79 showed us how to remove the grey boarder around desktop icon text. And this is done by default now.

I like those ugly grey boarders. Is there a way to add it back?

Thanks in advance.

Thanks Hezy!

I like the background too. The settings for this is in the file .gtkrc-2.0 in your home folder. here is my file for example:

Code: Select all

include ".gtkrc-white"

style "xfdesktop-icon-view" {

XfdesktopIconView::label-alpha = 50
font_name="Sans"

base[NORMAL] = "#000000"
base[SELECTED] = "#A7CC5C"
base[ACTIVE] = "#A7CC5C"

fg[NORMAL] = "#ffffff"
fg[SELECTED] = "#000000"
fg[ACTIVE] = "#000000"
}
keep on rockin' in the free world
