Webcam anyone?

I have never used or owned a webcam or really even thought about one until this weekend. Read an article about them, got interested in the use of one as a security camera with Linux. I may have a question about software when I actually get mine. I ordered one. I wanted to pass this along to anyone looking for one. I usually check Newegg and others for computer related stuff. Newegg has the Logitech C310 (720p) cam now for 44.95, but I found www.bhphotovideo.com in N.Y. has it, and others, on sale right now for 23.99 with free shipping if you don't mind the slowish USPS. Sale ends today-Aug 27. Sound good?
