Me personally, I'd never use it. I find the GUI is takes up to much valuable time. So I voted for not with a fifty foot pole!

I voted "If I'm Lazy", because I actually put

as a menu entry for those lazy days :D Most of the time I use the terminal if I know exactly what I'm doing, and where.

I'm about as far as you can get from "old skool" Linux user, so (although I've never had to use it yet) if I were to want to make adjustments as root, I'd use the option. I do know my way around a terminal, but I prefer the GUI.

Avoid root :)
I often find myself using nautilus to navigate to the file I want to change (usually a conf file) study it, close it and then right click in the folder - Open a terminal here and then gksu gedit...
