I wish I could understand women, so I tried:
potus@wh ~ $ man women
No manual entry for women
For peace on earth, I tried:
potus@wh ~ $ make peace
make: *** No rule to make target `peace'. Stop.
potus@wh ~ $ [ Where is common sense in Congress?
bash: [: missing `]'
Of course, my favorite is:
potus@wh ~ $ apt moo

A byte walks in to a bar.
Barman says "Are you alright, mate? You look a bit off."
The byte looks solemnly up at the barman.
"Parity error."

This one's so old it may be new:
Guy calls for support with his DVD player. Can't seem to figure out where it is. IT specialist tells him to push a button near the top of the computer, and a thing will come out for them to put the DVD in. Guy says, "What, you mean the drink holder?"

Let me go send that to a few mates who are terrified of flying...
BTW: found this out from personal experience. The seatback displays for both Delta and Virgin Australia Airlines run Linux--IIRC it's Red Hat.

Re: Computer related jokes
I did too but on another airline, forgot which one it was. Something went wrong and they had to reset the terminal, which is not good. You should never ever have to see which OS is running that thing. Rebooting is so Windows, it should not happen on Linux.Fred Barclay wrote: BTW: found this out from personal experience.
