Great news:
The Firefox ESR edition has finally caught up. Firefox 31.0 ESR with the Australis UI is available.
Does it not look great?! :D

When your Firefox is >= 25, it's not important how it looks. It's important how often it crashes.

In the last 6 months, Firefox did not crash once on my system. A few weeks ago, I just had flash crashing once. Reloading the page was enough... :)

Way back at the times of Firefox 3.6 I needed some full theme which looked nice and sweet for my wife's computer: RedCats on Blue / RedCats on Green. Of course I had to have a test installation on my machine as well, in case I needed to troubleshoot problems caused by the cats. In fact, I never had to. But, this is how the cats started invading my computer life. :)

Hooray!
Linux is not the only answer! :: eD2k/Kad mirrors for Linux Mint and LMDE.
Users who misspell "Windows" as "Windoze" intentionally will be considered stupid.

Nice story... For me it's simpler! I always use the default theme by Mozilla...

People disagree with me. I just ignore them.

I'd been hanging on to FF28 on my little netbook, because I like showing the Menu toolbar and FF28 permits dragging all the other items from the Navigation toolbar and eliminating that one. Australis seems to run a little better but is less configurable.

Finally found a simple extension called "The Fox: Only Better" that solves the toolbar problem nicely by converting the pesky Nav toolbar into a dropdown along with other configuration settings. Now have the current FF on my small screen with no grief.
TRUST BUT VERIFY any advice from anybody, including me. M18.3 XFCE (Dell 1520) 64 bit. Dual booting M19.1 XFCE / W7 (Acer netbook) and M19.1 Cinnamon / W7 (Lenovo desktop) 64 bit. Persistent live USB pretesting M19.2 Cinnamon and XFCE.

Can you please tell me more about this?
Two weeks ago I installed Mint 17 with Firefox 31.0, and now Firefox crashes two to three times every day. And it freezes my whole computer every other day. On Mint 15 and whatever Firefox I used to have, I NEVER had a single problem. I hate this. What options do I have to fix it?
