Try mint on a tablet

Thinking of picking up a second had Microsoft Surface Pro 1 or 2 and installing mint on it, I have considered some other x86 CPU tablets, but unsure weather the BIOS would be a problem, Has anyone attempted this or have thoughts how I should approach this ? Or even other brands of tablets ??

XFCE Cinnamon and other distros my other two systems
As well as other Mint and Distros like Lite, MX etc on Wife and Kids systems

you would have to access the UEFI with:
https://www.microsoft.com/surface/en-au ... windows-10
and see if there was an option to boot a usb device ..
