Check USB pendrive in Windows 10 for errors

Yeah, I know this is a Linux forum. But I also know some / a lot of people also use Windows.

The problem :
My Uruguayan friend has trouble reading a USB pendrive
What is the Windows tool / command to check a pendrive for errors?
It's only 1 pendrive that's giving troubles, others works just fine

I don't know if this is the command you are looking for but you can check out diskpart. There is an on-line reference here. Remember, this is a VERY dangerous command! If you choose the wrong drive you can lose data.

windows only sees a first partition on flashdrives as I recall. He should reformat it to FAT32.

FYI: USB sticks (pendrives) do wear out, like hard drives, so even if you successfully repair it, if it is worn out and failing, it will just stop working again.
