Had not been aware that this British band might be known in the US as well. Great. :D
P.S.: Amended your (quoted) post by adding the missing link.

From the long list I recognize Rammstein. If I remember right then I spent 1.5 years at Ram(m)stein, in a previous life. Or am I missing up something?

WOW, karlchen, you were reading my mind about "thanks for the memory", when i had said thanks for the memories...DAMIEN

PS...you said,
Had not been aware that this British band might be known in the US as well. Great
You would be suprised as to what i have in a music library that i have gathered now for almost 52 years.

Heres a few you might know and remember:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=x-G28iyPtz0

Remastered version of Autobahn: Personally I like the original non-remastered version better:

Also this one from Kraftwerk:

Also, First ever "techno" 40 years ago, 1970, Krafwerk: Not the best crowd reaction as you will see:

Hi, ACE_.

Damien is right. Behind the Youtube link that you had posted there is a long playlist. On this playlist I spotted the band name of Rammstein in several places. The Ramstein, which I had mentioned next, is a small German town with a large NATO airbase. The question actually was a rhetoric question only. Of course, I deliberately mixed up the band name with the name of the town.

Cheers,
Karl

Along with that NATO base you referred to in Ramstein, you are probably also aware of the bases in Schweinfurt in Bavaria as well as Wiesbaden in Hesse...DAMIEN

To be honest, techno has never been my cup of tea. No Kraftwerk and no Autobahn in my car while driving on the highway. It would rather be Deep Purple and Highway Star. If I remember right, I posted so some time ago in this thread.
Corrected: Seems I did not mention that particular song [1], but still by Deep Purple [2] and [3]

I'm still somewhat of a gamer, and I'll listen usually just to game sounds, but for something besides the sound of my electric air filter, I'll listen to https://rewoundradio.com while I'm gaming sometimes.

While driving, I have an mp3 player to play stuff over the car's FM radio, as I still can't tolerate commercials of any kind, whether audible, graphic, or video. So, no regular radio, except in the matter of the batteries of the mp3 player or FM transmitter giving out.
I'm so tempted to buy a bag of paintballs and a slingshot to do potshots at my town's only video electronic billboard, as it's on the opposite corner of the same block I live on. Yes, I live in a very small town.

I think some Focus is also good: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Mdb9kX_Ljcs
