Since I was changing out the fin configuration of my standup paddleboard (sup) in my garage yesterday afternoon, I took my laptop out my garage to listen to some music while I worked on my sup. The song below is in my music folder and I like this one a lot. The lead singer, John Cafferty has a voice which sounds like Bruce Springteen's. The song is titled, "Penetration" and it is played by the group known as John Cafferty & The Beaver Brown Band. BTW, this group did the background music (and lyrics) for the movie, "Eddie & The Cruisers".

So I had to find the song on YouTube. I did find it but there is a quirk. For some reason, there are two addresses for it since there is something called "restrictive mode". If you use a "linux" browser in any linux distro, the song will play at the address below:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jzv54j1onLk

But if you're using a "windows" browser in Windows 7, 8/8.1 or 10; the link address above will not play the song. So for any "windows" lurkers reading this post using a "windows" browser, the site address below will play the song:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8lwEOH1BLJ8
Linux Mint 21.3 (Virginia) Xfce
MX Linux 23.2 (Libretto) Xfce
Linux Debian 12.5 (Bookworm) Xfce

Guess this means that my Windows 7 EE x64 SP1 qualifies as some kind of Linux system, because the link works as expected here.
By the way, the second link works as well, on Windows 7 EE x64 SP1.

One thing I would suggest, create a partition as a 50G partition as /. Partition the rest as /Home. IF the system fails, reinstall and use the exact same username and all your 'stuff' comes back to you.
