Heh. Now Bach's Toccata & Fugue in D Minor is blasting from the speakers.

Awesome music, but not exactly fitting the mood of the rest of the playlist. Time to check my directories for misfiled songs, I guess. :?

Bah! I'm a sucker for punishment! Listening, and half watching the swearing in of our 30th PM! I'll not comment any further or the mods might have to get all "official"

Just found the absolute best music discovery site ever - with samples and links directly to play on Spotify.

http://www.acclaimedmusic.net/album/A50.htm

That's the page I found (by accident) - exploring the whole site is a really good time. Samples of everything (maybe everything?) and links to listen further on Spotify.

At this moment I am streaming Carnival of the Animals.
Fits my disposition today.

If You Want to ESCAPE with Me...Beat Saber
That song, for me, has the effects like in the movie, "Tron".

I ran across some symphonic metal which is the prevalent sound from some European groups. One is the european group, Within Tempation with their lead singer, Sharon den Adel.

Within Tempation - "Shot In The Dark".

I've got a few hobbies. My favorite hobby has to do with standup paddleboarding (SUP) in its various forms of flat water paddling, coastal cruising and surfing the waves down on the Texas coast. I have two sup boards, but my favorite one is custom made 11'1" x 30" x 4.5" @ 173 liters.

Since this board has a 5 finbox setup, depending on what form I'm going to be doing above, I have to change out my different length fins for the different forms. I change out the fins in my garage with my board laying upside down across two sawhorses. I always bring my laptop out into the garage with me and listen to a quite a few songs. Yesterday I went for a coastal cruising session and this is one of the songs I was listening to while changing out my fins before the session the night before.

Al Stewart - "On The Border"
