Downloaded a 4.3 GB iso file using a download accelerator & when I tried to copy it to a flash disk which had a free space of more than 6GB, it gave me an insufficient space error. Then I checked the downloaded file size & found out its size is actually >9GB! But when I mounted the ISO file & checked the files in the mount image it's 4.3GB which is as it should be. Can somebody tell me what is happening here?
Attached screenshots for reference
1. The ISO file size as displayed in the download manager app I used.
2. Output of ll on the downloaded file
3. Output of df -h of the mounted iso file

Re: ISO file size error
This is not about Linux Mint but about Windows, as the screenshot show. I moved the thread to Open chat.
Have you checked the md5sum of the iso? Does it match with the one given by the website?
