I have the first one on that list, retired and stuck in a closet. Time to trash it. There really needs to be an easy way to update routers with security patches.

Interesting read, I think I'm safe, my router is not even hinted at in the article and it has a custom password and no remote mgmt facilities.

At the moment, I'm using an ISP-provided cable modem router which is not listed, but even "back in the day" none of the units I bought are listed in that article.

Moreover, on my own hardware, I've always preferred to run DD-WRT, because manufacturer firmware has never really been all that wonderful.
Everything is in hand. With this tapestry... and with patience, there is nothing one cannot achieve.

No hamsters were harmed in the authoring of this post.
