I have the first one on that list, retired and stuck in a closet. Time to trash it. There really needs to be an easy way to update routers with security patches.

Interesting read, I think I'm safe, my router is not even hinted at in the article and it has a custom password and no remote mgmt facilities.
Kernel: 4.15.0-36-generic x86_64 bits: 64
Desktop: Cinnamon 3.8.9
Distro: Linux Mint 19 Tara

Laptop T4500 Dualcore 4Gb RAM
Server AMD Phenom 9650 - GEForce 9400GT 6Gb RAM
+ three other Linux Mint machines
Out of my mind - please leave a message

At the moment, I'm using an ISP-provided cable modem router which is not listed, but even "back in the day" none of the units I bought are listed in that article.

Moreover, on my own hardware, I've always preferred to run DD-WRT, because manufacturer firmware has never really been all that wonderful.
Peoples of the universe, please attend carefully: the message which follows is vital to the future of you all.
