WOW, what an experience. I just read your other post. It's good for all that it was only a little "POP" or we may well be saying "Alas, Poor Cagtweasel, We knew him". I trust for all concerned that they take suitable precautions in case it does go "BOOOOOOM"

There isn't much you can do if the top blows off and you're in the kill zone, except perhaps kissing yourself goodbye. Still, you're quite right, it was an awesome experience.
