Phone : Nokia 3.1 Android One
OS : Android 8.0.0
Problem :
Android kills some apps that are runnuing in the background. The 2 most used and important to me are Call Recorder ACR (recording phone calls) and Bluelight for eyecare (filters bluelight at evening / night)
ACR's developer says I have to whitelist the app in the background activity manager (settings - battery). Unfortunately there is no background activity manager in the settings, only optomize or don't optimize battery.
Is there an other way to prevent Android them from stopping?
Thx in advance, Luke

"Don't Optimize" I believe should be the option you're looking for.

Re: Android 8 power management kills apps
Yes, that's the option. But I does not work very well in 8.0.0
I just got an upgrade to Android 8.1, so I'll see is this works better
Update September 21th, All aps are working fine now
