After all, my last processors from IBM are 16 years old.
Still good and loud running on quite antique systems and machines of a well-known manufacturer... :mrgreen:

The article talks about a mainboard equipped with an ibm-processor - all together in the order of 1000 dollars. And all that more or less without blobs and linux-capable.
After what intel has offered this year (and probably will) continue to offer - who knows - maybe an alternative...
