This is why I love science and a world in which people try to improve the human condition.

Whether it's para- or quadraplegia, or any other kind of disabling condition, I am thrilled to hear about progress made. We are a sentient, intelligent species, and we have no business simply “accepting what fate deals us”.

This news really made my morning.
