From your article, everybody it seems. It's documented in Apple's user guide:
Exposing iPhone to environments having high concentrations of industrial chemicals, including near evaporating liquified gasses such as helium, may damage or impair iPhone functionality.
Not that anybody ever reads the safety information but perhaps now some will start.

Even then, are helium vents a big problem for people? I'll take vulnerability to helium over exploding batteries.

It is less about Apple and iPhones than about micromechanical parts and how molecules - such as helium - can act on these parts...
Linux Mint 18.3 Sylvia (Mate) 32-bit - Acer D250 Netbook (Intel Atom N270, 2 GB RAM, 120 GB SSD)
Linux Mint 17.3 Rosa (Mate) 64-bit - MacBook Pro 15" (Intel Core2 Duo, 8 GB RAM, 240 GB SSD) - with some separation difficulties...

But "iPhones are allergic to helium" is a catchier title than "Micromechanical parts are allergic to helium".

Any device using the same MEMS timing oscillator would have issues with gasses like helium. It's a wonder though. That thing is 1.2 mm², about the size of a grain of sand.

Better - and more expensive - smartphones from CAT are said to have gas filters installed (besides infrared photography...) - maybe they made a feature out of a bug...

I wish I had the money to invest in futures for helium-preparing companies.
