SD Padres 45 wins (fans = solid support for the military)
Phillies 47 wins (fans = blue collar - sometimes . . . uh . . . undiplomatic)

I really enjoyed the hype with Manny vs. Bryce earlier this season; can't wait to see the series in Philly next month. Two of my all-time favorite players - Mike Schmidt and Steve Carlton.

I can only sit on the sidelines here and watch as this sports conversation progresses. But it's cool.

Manny "I'm not Johnny Hustle" - can't believe any athlete would ever say that - would get booed relentlessly in Philly with that attitude. BH may not be anywhere near as good as $330mil would indicate but at least he is giving it the effort and playing aggressive baseball - maybe too aggressive - I think he is trying to live up to that huge contract.

"Two of my all-time favorite players - Mike Schmidt and Steve Carlton" ditto here - obviously, I guess, as a Phillies fan
Mike Schmidt = best 3B ever in the history of baseball for the best Phillie player ever.
"Lefty" Steve Carlton = best Phillies P ever.

My two favorite Padres
Tony Gwynn,- best Padre ever IMHO
And of course John Kruk - but you knew that was coming. BTW Kruk is the color man on Phillies broadcasts AND played for Larry Bowa a great Phillies SS (played with Schmidt) but a disaster as a manager in SD and Philly.

Philly fans boo everyone...including Santa Clause! I personally have no problems with Manny not hustling to first on a ball that will be an out 99.9% of the time.

Besides Tony, my favorite Padres are Dave Winfield (he got me hooked) and Trevor Hoffman. Kruk was pretty good while he played here; poor Larry - if he tried to manage today's pampered players, he'd be in prison for mass murder!

Have you ever heard of Mike Schmidt and Steve Carlton before. Must be people who live in some weird foreign place. Worse than living in Australia.

Someone has to run the country. I sent my brother over to sort out Holden but he got sidetracked with computers. I suppose computers suck too. Computers? No probably just the Holdens....
Note - Oz and us, we have probably got the rest of the world scratching their heads wondering what this is all about. :D

I literally could not understand the accent - at some points in the video I could recognize the English language - kind of - and sort of get the gist but for the most part I was lost.

Holden's are my favorite GM cars - Holden engineering is GM's absolute best performance engineering group.
Fact:
"The 2012 NASCAR season marked the end of use of the Impala nameplate on stock cars. From 2013 to 2017, Chevrolet drivers began driving the Holden VF Commodore SSV based Chevrolet SS in Sprint Cup until the Chevrolet SS was discontinued after 2017. "
This is a re-badged Holden Commodore as a left hand drive Chevy SS

The other fantastic thing imported from Down under is 6'8" 345lb rugby player drafted to play American football for the NFL Philadelphia Eagles. He has never played a down of American football. He made the roster and has spent last season on the Eagles practice squad learning to be a NFL Tackle. He is a phenomenal athlete.
