[SOLVED] Desktop not shown on Linux Mint 19.2

Post by BG04PF » Tue Sep 03, 2019 5:15 pm

Hi everyone,

Recently I've made some uogrades, and, After It rebooted, the desktop files, directories, etc. are not shown. If I use nautilus and I move on /home/user/Desktop I see the files are there, but they don't appear in the desktop.

What should I do?

I use Linux Mint 19.2 Cinnamon 64 bit

Do you have Timeshift creating restore points? If so, try going back before the problem. If not another possible way is to backup all your data and create a new user account with full Admin permission. Configure it and use it to delete your old account.
To mark this issue solved, go to your original 1st post and click the edit pencil and add [Solved] at the beginning of the title and click Submit.
