We have a visitor from far far away

Post by lsemmens »

Astronomers around the world are monitoring an interstellar comet hurtling through the solar system It would be nice if we could add some telemetry to it whilst it is still in range. It would be interesting to see how far it goes.

Who knows, the Klingons may already be out around Uranus, but we would never know.

Its actually the other way around...the old joke goes like this..."what does the Starship Enterprise and toilet paper have in common?"

"They both circle Uranus looking for Klingons"

I'm not sure which distro they use, but I'm pretty confident they're running it on Alienware systems.

One thing I would suggest, create a partition a ~28G partition as /. Partition the rest as /Home.
When the system fails, reinstall and use the exact same username and all your 'stuff' comes back to you.
