Re: What are you listening to right now?
My son encouraged me to buy one of those 'Big Brother Is Watching' thingies some time ago, and I've been wondering what to do with it - other than asking "Alexa, how many kittens can fit in a Mini?". Of course it wants to know if I mean 'skirt' or 'minor'. . .
So I discovered I can sync one of my iPhone apps with private cloud storage, and play my stored mp3 and similar files on the iPhone. Then I realised I can play to the Echo-Dot thing via Blue Teeth. That was doing ok, until I noticed a little hole in the Echo-Dot. So I plugged a spare stereo speaker system with sub (woofer, not missive) into that.
Now that I can do that I might gram another echo-Dot and a Sub-woofer next time they have a sale.
For now, it saves me booting another computer unless I need to, or until I can teach Mint to work off voice commands. Which, I think it used to do, but I have forgotten how.
So - I'm listening to Some Neil Diamond right now.

Waiting on a new Nightwish album, or a new Sabaton album. Mostly listening to classics (rock that is) these days.

It's scary when someone quotes two songs together that someone my age has listened to in the last week . .MurphCID wrote: ⤴Fri Oct 21, 2022 9:34 am En vie la Rose (Edith Piaf) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sKJ9bvdgNvk

Two songs many people would not see as belonging in the same 'music taste' profile

My Albinoni playlist. It's so nice that the weather has cooled down enough that I don't have to run the AC fan 24/7.

Re: What are you listening to right now?
Yeah, we've also been getting cooler weather down here. Mornings have been starting out in the mid-to-upper 60s (~ 17,7 - 20°C) this past week. I think we got all the way down to 60° (15,5°C) last Friday or something like that. And looking at weather.com, it appears it's going to stay that way into next week. On the whole, that's awesome news as I really, really, really hate hot and humid weather. The downside is that's a bit chilly for early morning bicycle rides, especially when there's a 5-10 mph (8-16 kph) breeze.Lady Fitzgerald wrote: ⤴Tue Oct 25, 2022 12:16 pm My Albinoni playlist.
