Pulse SMS with Linux Client
I've just installed the Pulse SMS client on my Android phone and on my Mint desktop. The choice for my desktop was between the extension for each of my browsers (Firefox, Chromium, Brave and Chrome) or the Linux client. With the Linux client I can send and receive text messages from my desktop or laptop even when no browser is running, and I've set it to start automatically on login. It runs in the background. Great stuff, it's open source and it works. Android app (which is first class) is free and the Linux client costs $1.99/month or $19.99/year with a 1 week free trial. If you haven't run across this, check it out. https://home.pulsesms.app/overview/signup.html
