G-Sync for Linux

Post by mikeflan »

I was researching this topic:
viewtopic.php?f=46&t=353560
and I ran across this link:
https://forums.developer.nvidia.com/t/g ... inux/31119

I think every new hire at Nvidia is trained to sink Linux at every turn

I was listening to Linux Unplugged #415 the other day, and it seems to me like at the hardware level, this GSync business will matter, but thanks to Valve, we may not have native commercial games written for Linux for much longer.

This makes me wonder if, conversely, we might wind up getting other commercial software by way of Proton, etc.
