Do you see what I see?
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KzX6e4yOzqk
Look closely in the very top right-hand corner, as the light increases in intensity toward the left, and keeping your eyes on the right by not following the light, what do you see? What is unusual in the video for a meteor? You may have to run it a few times in full screen before the apparent anomaly pops out. It's only 45 seconds long.
That meteor was reported in mainstream news across the world.
In various articles, it's stated that the meteor produced a blast of light that could be seen from northern Norway to Russia’s Kola peninsula, but that scientists suspect it didn't disintegrate.

That's quite an impressive list of exposure for an it-doesn't-look-like-a-meteor-to-me to go unnoticed, and the list is far from complete. I'm not speculating on what it might be, suffice it to say, I am not convinced that it is a meteor. I am not aware of any aircraft that would be remotely similar to what I see in the video.
So, what do you see? What do you think it might be? Why?

Four year old story. What are you, an internet archeologist? Reposter supreme? I don't get it

Re: Do you see what I see?
I haven't seen it reported as anything other than a meteor. The point is, it doesn't appear look like a meteor. I don't believe the age of the video to be relevant to the question of if it isn't a meteor then what is it.

I don't know. How long is a piece of string?

I can't see anything other than the light show. Shame it's not better quality.

Re: Do you see what I see?
You need to keep your eyes off the light show and in the right-hand corner of the video.
Whatever it is, it appears to have a flat back and horizontal bar lights behind it. It is not lit up all around as every meteor I've ever seen has been a glowing ball with a bright tail behind it. It has definite structure that appears engineered.
Re: Do you see what I see?
Yes--this looks strange, those parallel lines extending---but I have not personally observed a close meteor.
Do you see them often down under?every meteor I've ever seen

Re: Do you see what I see?
Oh, yes, quite often, only not so close up. Several showers of meteors are as regular as clockwork.
Re: Do you see what I see?
Mostly peak viewing here is obfuscated
About 10 years ago we had a mass power outage due to ice storms.
Power was out for millions and it was totally dark outside.
During those nights I could see the milky way--
Something I happily remember from childhood.
We were without power for 26 days

Re: Do you see what I see?
Creature comforts gone missing. When I go bush there's always a meteor to be seen, sometimes a dozen an hour, sometimes one every few hours. I still see quite a few where I live, which is on the very outer fringes of the city and the nearest neighbour is about 600M away. The street lights don't help.
Re: Do you see what I see?
Yes--we are about 4 km away from a state highway but the lights obfuscate our view. The blackout made us realize how much.Kadaitcha Man wrote: ⤴Fri Aug 06, 2021 1:43 amCreature comforts gone missing. Re: Do you see what I see?
that's even better than around here .. nearest neighbour was 500m away,
- 30 years ago -
now they are both 150m away.
it's hard to tell, just what that may be, even though the video clip runs through, twice.

So-----now it's time to tell what you see

Re: Do you see what I see?
it may even be, just the Front Lights on an Aeroplane that is coming into landing.

Re: Do you see what I see?
I see a bright headlight in front of some kind of vehicle that has a flat back with horizontal bar lights on it. In short, some type of craft, though I can't place it with any type of aircraft I've ever seen. What I am certain of is that is definitely not a meteor.

Re: Do you see what I see?
Indeed, and that seems to have been missed by the scientists looking for where the meteor might have come from, and all of the news sources I linked to. There is no mention anywhere that the light looks like a headlight or landing light. I think it is a craft of some kind, but not a craft I've ever seen before. I guess that, technically, it's a UAP. UFO in the old language.
That however does not imply little green men.
Re: Do you see what I see?
I've stared at it for a while, and looked to the right — I cannot see a damn thing, except lens glare and a tree. What's the time-frame of this anomaly? I even downloaded the video and played the comet parts frame-by-frame. There's a tree in the top-right, so I'm not sure what I'm meant to see other than the tree.Kadaitcha Man wrote: ⤴Thu Aug 05, 2021 11:55 pm You need to keep your eyes off the light show and in the right-hand corner of the video.

Re: Do you see what I see?
I reckon it could be a fireball.
