How? When I open mine, I don't get the notification.

Edit: Never mind, I just reran the installation command and it is now updated.

My Aptik gets the updates thru the Update Manager.

Come to think of it, I used to get them there also. I wonder why they stopped?

Okie Dokie,

When I started this thread, it was because I had received my normal Email Updates from Tony George and in that particular Newsletter, he was telling us that he had just released a new update for Aptik.

• ( Had I not made mention of this via this thread, the updates would have just gone thru without notice by most of us )

Those Email Newsletters are happening because when I first bought a License for one of Tony's apps, which I do believe was Aptik several years ago BEFORE he was charging, it was a Donation, I signed on for Email Newsletters.

Just like all updates that arrive through Update Manager, it takes awhile before the Release Date, and for it to get put into the Repository for Update Manager to search for updates.

Just today, I noticed that the actual Update for Aptik is now waiting for me in Update Manager.

and here is a picture of that event.

Because you had forced the 'update' prior to the Update Manager checking to see what version you have installed.

Nothing amiss there.
