I had forgotten those. A co-worker had a "Trash 80 and a cassette drive". I also liked the "I'm a Mac, I'm a PC" commercials. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1rV-dbDMS18

I'm surprised no one has referred to this yet. It was around late 80's or early 90's when I was a sysadmin for a FreeBSD box in a building housing 5000 windows users. http://bofh.bjash.com/

I have the comics. I'm a child of the 75-in-1 Electronic Project kits, too.

<mod>
This thread does not serve any purpose other than occupying precious screen space with random oversized images and more pointless stuff like e.g. Youtube links.
Please, keep in mind that this is still the Linux Mint forum. This is not Facebook, Twitter or TikTok or any other (un)social media channel.
With respect to our forum rules, one might wonder whether this thread is not partially in conflict with the forum rule I.3: viewtopic.php?f=17&t=83314#i3, it might be considered "s..m by design". It definitely is on conflict with forum rule II.7: viewtopic.php?f=17&t=83314#ii7
