Huge westerns fan, can claim to have seen almost all westerns of note, those that were in color anyway, don't remember this one; would you please give up the name?

And here's my poser; actually i'm more interested to see if anyone can name the actor who plays the boy than the movie.

that would be kurt russell, possibly as Jamie McPheeters in Guns of Diablo or the TV series The Travels of Jamie McPheeters

Not really, I recognized Kurt Russell and then went to his imdb profile and checked for westerns he was in in the 60s, since I recall seeing Disney movies with him as a child star at that time.
