Linux Mint celena - work computer

Just decided I should post this for whatever it is worth. I decided that I am going to use this R51 Thinkpad running 100% Linux Mint Celena as my outside shed/workshop Garden computer. t is not quite Business as such like Clem has stated in other threads; but I am using this for all of my work notes, info, and everything else used for my outside work stuff. In addttion I have a 2.1 speaker system to listen to news and internet radio stations and can access email and internet for anything while I am working doing a variety of things. garden, woodshop stuff, or hanging with my Dog and having a glass of Beaujolais or a nice Guinness or a Jack Daniels Single Barrel whiskey.

I have access to repair dates, stuff to do, maintenance records, etc.

I am happier than a pig in ....

just a point of calrification as an addendum.

i am currently in mu home using Mint and linux and alsi have been for about the last 6 hrs. so I am not just leaving this laptop in my shed and woodshop waiting to be used. it has been a very active Multimedia/CD playing event this afternoon
while having a cold one a a nice whiskey....doing my work......

this has been an awesome linux and mint experience and experiment which is what it was setup to be.

just sweeter than I could have imagine from past experiences.

Alright Alright! Some of us have to use crappy Windows at work don't rub it in.

Sorry - I am rather amazed at how much this stuff works from my other couple of attempts. Yes that is all we have in the house - Macs!
