Re: Dear Santa
Have you seen the German WePad? Also they have Ubuntu iPad touches and iPhones. I believe the iPad is not too different. If it can support Ubuntu it can support Mint. So if you ask the right person or look hard enough you might just get one.

Re: Dear Santa
This would be a cool thread to put a Linux Mint User Secret Santa list. It's already into November so there's not much time to prepare, but perhaps next year we could get something organized, make a $15-20 limit and have some fun.
This year at least it would be interesting to see everyone else's list!
Either way my list this year:
AMD Phenom II X6 1055T Thuban 2.8GHz
Thermaltake CLP0554 80mm Sleeve CPU Cooler
G.SKILL 4GB (2 x 2GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1333 Kit
COOLER MASTER eXtreme Power Plus RS700-PCAAE3-US 700W
ASUS M4A785TD-V EVO AM3 AMD 785G HDMI ATX AMD Motherboard
HITACHI HDS721050CLA362 (0F10381) 500GB 7200 RPM
IN WIN Maelstrom Black SECC(0.8~1.0mm) ATX Case
ASUS DRW-24B1ST/BLK/B/AS Black SATA 24X DVD Burner
Well, you see what I'm getting at.

Re: Dear Santa
Oh no I was just saying my general list for this year. In the post I wrote we could organize something for next year. I said this year there wasn't enough time to get people to sign up, distribute names, etc. I was just showing everyone what I was hoping to get this year (and will likely buy myself). Sorry ha I did not mean to confuse my motives!
Re: Dear Santa
Like a "secret pal" gift swap kinda thing! That would be very cool and lots of fun. In fact it could even become a fund raiser for the Mint project (or any other worthwhile cause).

Re: Dear Santa
Definitely something to think about for next year as far as the Gift Swap idea goes. On a completely unrelated note I need to scour and search within the Art section to see if someone's made a case badge. Though I suppose it could be a reward for donating to the project.Robin wrote:Like a "secret pal" gift swap kinda thing! That would be very cool and lots of fun.
