Welcome aboard mikew77,

You are right, this is a great distro. I've tried many but I'm sort of hooked on Mint, myself.
By the way, could you put the name of your country in your profile? It's hard for many to look up the site with the national flags. Sorry, but I was never good in geography :)

Greetings, npap

Hi Phil,
I like your dude, it's great.
The king is dead. Long live the king!
Ἐπίκουρος will have to wait for Plato to kick the bucket.
Poor Socrates found peace at last. He could never take his wife's nagging.

One day Xanthipi, his spouse, kept yelling at him for an hour: "You lazy bum!
why don't you go and find a job. All the time, blah, blah, blah and no money"!

So, since the poor fellow couldn't take it any more, he ran down the stairs, out the door, and stopped on the sidewalk. He murmured a few things looking back.
Xanthipi, came to the balcony with a bucket of cold water. She dumped it on poor Socrates yelling "go to hell, you bum!"
Socrates looked up and said: " Well, after thunderbolts you can only expect showers"

Greetings, npap

Hi npap,

The flag is the alsacian one.
And that is my house... To be honest, ...was.
We were so happy there and the children had no stress playing outside

Hello Phil,
That looks very much like paradise. I saw a picture of Le lac Blanc.
That's where I would love to be in my next life.
