Let me be the first to welcome you aboard, Nondas.
I enjoy scraptops too. It's fun to see what distro they prefer, and then make it run smoothly (in case of hardware quirks). I look at all computers and wonder what distro I could run on them...haha. It's not a good idea for me to cruise Craigslist or eBay. I have three very old IBM Thinkpads and an equally old Sony Viao that I've kept all these years, from my WinXP days. The Sony and the oldest of my Thinkpads (X20) both run Linux. I need to get a new CPU fan for one of the other Thinkpads, and there's nothing wrong with the third. The old IBM Thinkpads last forevvvveeerrr! And they had awesome keyboards back then!!Tomgin5 wrote: ⤴Wed Mar 13, 2019 5:01 pm Hi All! I think I got lost in the clutter a couple of years back Getting bored with the weather waiting to getting back to cycling in the Northwest. Just a mention of my resurrected hobby scraptops I brought back to life with LM.
