Re: THE MINT CAFE
I have been on holiday (vacation) for the past week.
10 days on the beach of South Padre Island . . . hadn't realized how much I miss the ocean.
I am soooo sunburned.
I'm still on holiday . . . made sure to take my laptop along.
So I won't be commenting as much as usual ... but, I'm here, somewhere.

Only one 'minor' flaw in your theory . . . in 1776, the British Monarch, was King George III

Re: THE MINT CAFE
At the risk of being humorlessly pedantic. think of what a "queen" is in the euphemistic sense. This might clear things up.MintyFree wrote:I'm puzzled, what does that mean?mick55 wrote:I wasn't aware Sir Elton John had freed them.MintyFree wrote:Whooo! Re: THE MINT CAFE
I'm contemplating on buying a new laptop. As my old Gateway is getting rather old and has seen better days.
It only has 183 Mb of usable RAM anymore and a 40 Gb hard-drive ... although, Linux has given it new life.
The newer laptops have 3-4Gb of RAM and 250-500Gb of hard-drive memory.
[sips] a glass of French Rose' . . . a glass of wine is good for you. Or so they say.

Nonsense! Just do a non-graphical install of Debian. I've put Linux on computers with less then 500 mhz of CPU and only a couple of hundred mb of RAM.ikey wrote:Heh good luckvrkalak wrote:I'm contemplating on buying a new laptop. As my old Gateway is getting rather old and has seen better days.
