The signs of the economic times are really showing.

I went into a McDonald's yesterday and the teenager at the counter asked me ---

"Can you afford fries with that?"

Will a bad joke do?

Have a free Mint Julep, all of you. Things are not as bad as they look.
Bottoms up!

I guess a bad joke is okay.

Hey men! I'm just stepping by to say hello, had quite busy weeks with studying, work and 'family' issues. I'll try to be around more often. How's everyone doing?

Almost got in a wreck today. I was tooling down I-75 doing about 80mph when I came up on a car fast! I was penned in and couldnt switch into the lane to the right or the left of me. So I got on the brakes and slowed WAY down. Seems this old dude was doing about 35mph in a 70mph zone! Cars whizzing by on both sides of me I set about checking my mirrors for a break so I could get around this reckless fool. As I was following him I noticed his license plate. He was from Alaska!

Oh, I live in Florida! I wonder how long it took for him to drive clear down here at his speed? Even more, I am completely mystified how he even made it.

Turkey on the rocks...And I don't even drink!

The Doctor told my grandmother that she needed to walk 2 miles everyday.
That was 5 years ago ... and now we don't know where, the heck, she is.

This old Dude from Alaska, probably started his trip when he was still middle-aged.

The Doctor : Isn't 100 dollars an absurdly high fee for a plumber?
My fee is only 50 dollars, and I am a DOCTOR!
The Plumber: Oh, that's how much I used to charge, when I was a doctor.

A GREAT LOSS FOR LINUX MINT

Post by npap »

Hello everyone,
Allow me to say a few words for our loved and respected Husse ( the chief ) whom most of us will never forget.
Being one of the first people that joined the Mint community, he worked very hard to keep a pleasant ambiance
as well as to help all of us in this Forum, whenever we needed help and advise.
Patient, kind and tireless; a respectable Gentleman he was.

Let us carry on from where he stopped and follow his example of respectability, and let this Forum abide by the principles he set.

God Bless you Mats

I'll drink to that, in fact I did at the w/e! Local beer (that's ale to our US cousins) festival with 220 beers and ciders. Plenty of crazy(?) fools, mainly students by the looks, drinking the stuff by the pint which is not recommended with the average strength probably around the 6% mark. One beer selling at 12%, didn't try that one
