The Moody Blues

Blasting, billowing, bursting forth
With the power of ten billion butterfly sneezes
Man with his flaming pyre
Has conquered the wayward breezes
Climbing to tranquility
Far above the cloud
Conceiving the heavens
Clear of misty shroud

Higher and higher
Now we've learned to play with fire
Go higher and higher and higher

Vast vision must improve our sight
Perhaps at last we'll see and end
To our own endless blight
And the beginning of the free
Climb to tranquility
Finding it's real worth
Conceiving the heavens
Florishing on earth

Higher and higher
Now we've learned to play with fire
Go higher and higher and higher
Just one of the numbers I like

Fleetwood Mac for old time music.
For real old time music, a local band, Union Jack, British Invasion. We will be seeing them this New Years Eve and a local place we dance at, a lot.

Pink Floyd

And you run and you run to catch up with the sun, but it's sinking
Racing around to come up behind you again

Thanks for the memories Wizard. I remember seeing Georgy Girl in the theaters when it was first released. And Spike Jones was a favorite when I was a kid.

Pink Floyd.

My first tattoo was a 'Dark Side of the Moon' prism on my arm. :D (Dad was quite proud of that: I'd been raised with excellent musical taste thanks to all his old LPs. ;) )

Sunburst Finish was the last and only album I've known.

BN ranks up there with Brian May of Queen, IMO.

Miles Davis, SRV, Robben Ford, Fela Kuti, Hendrix, Phish, the early Fleetwoods, Peter Green, the three kings B.B Albert
Freddy, Joe Zawinul, Pharoah Sanders, Mari Boine, Traffic and and and are favorites if i listen them. Tonights favorite is
