ati drivers still trying

okay my internet is such
a broadcom card in windows or wifi at a cafe which i havn't tested with mint yet

i have the 8.32.5 run driver for a ati 200m

should i try to install the run driver in some fashion or use a crappy wifi to pull a deb from albertomilone

HI, I would suggest you use the envy script that comes with mint, and yes it is albertomilone.

thankyou i'll try that. can i make backup file for my archives when i apt i'm always screwing things up so i try to keep a backup of files i want to use again

everything looks good with wifi i'll know for sure in 30 min

Can it be used for ATI cards?? I thought its only for NVIDIA cards.

envy is a script for installing both ati and nvidia driver :wink:
