Half Success installation NVIDIA Quadro P600 on Mint 17.3 Xfce

Post by chalermkiat »

I have installed Quadro P600 on my system by following the guide written by roblm » Mon Apr 14, 2014 4:02 am viewtopic.php?f=59&t=154932&start=20#p847465
The installation of driver looked successful at the beginning. However, after turning off and restart my computer, the problem occur as follows :

1) The system go black screen and take a very long time (20-40 minutes) to show up the log-in screen. I notice the HDD led always blinking every 15-20 secs. I understand that the system is keeping on probing my monitor.
2) I cannot log-out because once I log-out the screen turn to black screen and I cannot go to tty1. Certainly, I have to wait another 30-40 minutes for the system to come up.

During past 3 days, I have done fresh installation many times, but problem still be the same. I do not know where I did it wrong. I believe that driver should be correctly installed, but must be wrong somewhere in setting X server. Help me, please.

These are the setting informations :
