can't see whole screen on update manager

anyone has problem on sreen ? i can't see the whole screen thought i have been change the resolution, i am running Mint Mate 18.2 on my old laptop,

intel Atom
1 GB Ram
Acer AspireOne Happy

Newbie member here and please anyone who has same problem or senior would help me,

Here's a quick workaround: press and hold the Alt key, and you can drag the window around to see what you need to see.

i did, nothing change , and still cant see the whole fit screen, is this because i should install grapic or any driver ???

That is odd. Usually, while you are pressing the Alt key, you can grab the window (any window) with your mouse and drag it to move it. Are you saying that that doesn't work?
It doesn't make the window fit, but it should make it possible to move it around.
